This is the kind of breakfast you thought you’d never be able to eat once you were gastrically altered. And it was so, so good.
Breakfast today is Ricotta Cheese Crepes with Caramelized Bananas and Chocolate Sauce. Sounds like dessert, right? And it tasted like dessert, too!
Again, no instructions, so I wasn’t 100% sure what to do. I was tempted to eat it cold, as I love ricotta cheese cold and don’t like bananas warm. But crepes are supposed to be warm, and I figured the caramelized bananas would be better eaten warm, even though I didn’t think I’d like them. I heated it, and was so glad that I did. The chocolate sauce thinned out and it was so amazing. I still don’t love heated bananas, but they really did taste good in this dish. The cheese was creamy and sweet, and the crepes light and delectable.
It may not look pretty on the plate, but I could have licked the dish clean, this was sooooo good!
