Just when I purchased a Walt Disney World antenna ball for every holiday from Christmas to Arbor Day, we got a car that had, gulp, no antenna 🙁 I know – it was the saddest day of my week, too! Here we were with a beautiful new minivan, and there I was, a mountain of Disney antenna balls and no antenna to put them on!
What is a Disney fan to do?
Then all of a sudden, as if through telepathic communication, my whining, crying, begging and beseeching was answered!
While longingly admiring the latest round of oh so adorable antenna balls on a recent trip to Walt Disney World, I found my antenna ball super hero! No, seriously – it was a flying, super hero Mickey! But wait, there’s more! He came with not only an elastic band on his head, which could be used to hang him from my rear view mirror, but he came with a suction cup, with which I could affix him to my dashboard!
What’s that? An antenna ball that doesn’t need an antenna to top? Indeed. And it’s awesome!
The only thing I have noticed is that we do need to do some minor surgical alterations to my old antenna balls in order to fit them on the suction cup holder, but it really just requires the insertion of a key into the hole to expand it just a hair to allow the spring to fit.
The suction cup just needs a flat surface – like the top of your dash board – to adhere to, and you’re good to go!
