Oh my goodness – the painstaking efforts of trying to get registered for the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration in March have been completed, and we are now in the standby phase.
After more than an hour and a half of watching the little orange dot spin, we now have to wait and see if we’re good enough, smart enough, and if, darn it, they like us!
Whew!
A couple of years ago, when my daughter was trying to get into a sorority, I’m pretty sure she felt like this. The nervous excitement, the putting yourself out there, the hoping you get in – thank goodness I had friends to go through it with this afternoon!
I wish everyone who registered good luck at getting one of the coveted spots! I have heard the most wonderful things about the conference, and am excited at the chance of getting to share it with friends!
